Michael Huber is an award-winning folk artist whose soulful melodies and heartfelt lyrics have captivated audiences throughout Western Canada. With a voice that resonates deeply and songs that tell stories of love, hope, and human connection, Michael has become a staple of the BC folk music scene.
Accompanying Michael is Nils Loewen, a versatile artist known for his authenticity and creative knack, blending traditional with modern influences and creating music that feels both timeless and refreshingly original.
Throughout their careers, Michael and Nils have released multiple albums and played countless gigs. In 2018 they worked together on the EP Michael Huber - Wake Up. This recording was well received and led to Michael's full-length recording, Spirit Bear, combining poetic songwriting with a mesmerizing cast of BC's best musicians.
