Envisioning a vibrant Slocan Lake region where arts and culture are the heartbeat of the community, creating an inclusive, spirited, and inspiring environment where artists thrive, diversity flourishes, and every individual is connected through the transformative power of creativity.
The Slocan Lake Arts Council is a registered society run by a volunteer working board.
Our limited funding for programming and operations comes from grants and donors.
Volunteers are essential to our operations to assist with all kinds of activities - from putting up posters, setting up chairs and equipment, fundraising, collaborating with a committee or sitting on the board! There are so many benefits to getting involved, including free admission to our awesome events!
